Understanding the epidemiology of CP

CIs: McIntyre, AIs: Smithers-Sheedy, Badawi, Goldsmith and E Waight
Aims: Building on the 2019 World Registers and Surveillance Congress, this research using global CP register data aims to provide more accurate estimates of the prevalence and aetiology of CP7.
New Knowledge: Identify the global prevalence in both high and low-income settings and temporal trends of CP internationally 1980-2014. Describe the clinical characteristics and risk factors of Australian babies born with CP between 1995-2014 to inform future efforts to prevent/reduce the severity of CP.
